After de stemming the grapes, the juice was fermented on the skins for up to two weeks at ~80F and aged in a combination of new and 2 3 year old American and French oak barrels. Initial aromas of fig jam, toasted hazelnut, caramel and boysenberry, with flavours of dark fruit, cocoa and espresso, full bodied with a lush mid palate.
