The 25 hectare estate is located in Noto, near the Vendicari nature reserve and just 800 meters from the Ionian Sea. Named after "marabino," the local dialect word for the seaward breeze. The vineyards sit on calcareous soils at 50 170 meters elevation. Archimede is 100% Nero d'Avola from vines planted in 1972 and 2008. Certified organic.
