staying crisply intriguing and amazingly light bodied on the palate
This is probably one of my favorites of this grouping
it does not reveal any bricking at the edge
pear and apricot notes
with rigid tannins weaving through intense licorice and bitter chocolate flavors
2003 Sine Qua Non "Sublime Isolation" California White Blend staying crisply intriguing and amazinglyThe 2003 Sublime Isolation is a blend of 44% Chardonnay, 37% Roussanne, and 19% Viognier, all from the Alban vineyard. Aromatically restrained by SQN standards, with coaxing it offers up notes of honeyed pineapples, minerals, and flowers, but it is much more timid than its younger sibling. Rich, pure, and deliciously textured in the mouth, it reveals more on the palate than in its aromas, which should develop more nuances with additional bottle age.
