Thalia and The Gitrog Monster Tossing a stax effect on a card advantage engine is already something, but they had the audacity to make Thalia and The Gitrog Monster one of those stupid deathtouchfirst strike roadblocks that are virtually impossible to deal with in combat

This is a flexible card to helm an aggressive deck and does a lot of work with white reanimation effects like Angelic Renewal and free sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar

Having played all three decks in both two-person and three-person play, we enjoyed the Sapphire and Steel deck the most, as its basically unstoppable (at least compared to the other Starter Decks) when ramped up properly
