Personally, I found the easiest way to beat the early campaign was to use the Pendulum Starting Deck as a base and combine the Extra Deck of all the Campaigns, because Castel is such an important card to have, and Fusion Substitute will allow you to easily fuse your pendulum summoned Normal Monsters into First of the Dragons (keep in mind that effect a Pendulum card has no monster effect and the same yellow border that all other Normal Monsters have, they are still Normal Monsters)
