My proof of concept that kept me watching for ways to abuse it was the combination of Emmara, Soul of the Accord, Song of Freyalise, Shanna, Sisays Legacy and March of the Multitudes, which alone is lethal on Turn five (assuming no missed land drops)

You can include up to three other copies of your companion in your deck as normal, cards with companion dont have to be used as companions if you dont want them to be, and you can use a companion in Commander and Brawl, as well

Players had access to two packs of Jumpstart cards randomly selected from a list and combined them together into a 40-card deck

Aside from that, it distributes mana to each player, and, as an unexpected receiver of said mana, it can be interesting to find ways to filter that mana into different mana sinks to avoid the inevitable mana burn
