Since we need to discard to get our stuff working from our Commander's self-exile, most of my card draw is red's discard to draw which is called "rummaging." The two cost discards two, and draws three on the second turn, so you can make sure that happens, and don't sleep on the life gain either here
Tutors like Demonic Tutor and Imperial Seal that can be cast for only 1 mana and search for any card can give you flexibility to pull whatever you need for that specific game
