We’d long been working on a blend of single malts that combines seemingly dissonant flavour profiles

Ardnamurchan AD Single Malt Scotch arhumatic Irish whiskey from a singleArdnamurchan AD comprises an equal proportion of peated and unpeated malt. The cask makeup is 65% ex bourbon barrels from Kentucky and 35% ex sherry casks, Oloroso and PX, from Jerez. A true reflection of our rugged Western Highland location, the whisky boasts notes of oyster shell, campfire embers, waxy peel, honeycomb, strawberries with black pepper and a lingering maritime finish. Bottled at 46. 8% vol, unchill filtered and naturally coloured.
