What is Temperature and Humidity Mapping?

Temperature and humidity mapping is the process of placing calibrated temperature and humidity monitoring devices at critical points within a designated area to record and report environmental values.

This report must include the calibration certificates of the measuring devices used. Following the mapping process—also known as “temperature and humidity mapping” or simply “mapping”—devices should be installed at the identified key locations to enable continuous temperature and/or humidity monitoring.

Step 1

You have a pharmaceutical warehouse that you intend to operate in compliance with national and international standards. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey requires you to conduct a temperature and humidity mapping and, based on the results of the report, to install temperature and humidity monitoring devices accordingly.

The representative of Clogger Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Systems you contacted requests a layout plan of the area where the mapping will be carried out. You provide the layout, which includes fixed shelves, windows, doors, cabinets, and similar elements.

Clogger specialists then identify the critical points for sensor placement on the layout in accordance with the standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Step 2

After the critical points for sensor placement are identified on the layout, our specialist visits your warehouse with a thermal camera to verify these critical areas on-site. Then, sensors with TÜRKAK-accredited calibration are installed in the verified locations.

If additional critical points are identified during the thermal camera scan—beyond those previously marked on the layout—our specialist activates backup sensors and devices that are always carried on-site.

Once all critical points are confirmed and sensors are in place, the temperature and humidity mapping measurements can begin.

Step 3

Temperature and/or humidity monitoring is carried out within the designated time frame. The data is automatically and instantly recorded throughout the process. Once the measurement is complete, reports are prepared and presented to you.

These reports always include the TÜRKAK-accredited calibration certificates of the devices used during the mapping process—this is a critical requirement. Based on the reporting data, the critical points in your warehouse are clearly identified, and our specialist explains exactly where sensors should be positioned.
